Experience

Terry Greenke has valued businesses for about 30 years and within most major and minor categories; manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, services, retail, high-tech, internet, startups, franchises, restaurants, chiropractors, dentists, etc.  Businesses valued have had revenue from virtually nothing to over $450 million. The purposes of the valuations have ranged from mergers & acquisitions to C-corp conversions, estate planning, gifting of minority interests, shareholder disputes, bank financing (SBA loans), QES 401(k) investments under ERISA regulations, and corporate insurance protection.


Terry Greenke became a Certified Business Appraiser in February of 1995, a Certified Valuation Analyst in 2013, and a Business Valuator Accredited in Litigation in 2004 (which was later changed to the designation Master Analyst in Financial Forensics in 2013). Mr. Greenke is a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Originally trained by a British Petroleum (BP) valuation specialist in 1988, Mr. Greenke began his valuation career appraising potential acquisition candidates in North America. In this position he gained extensive experience in the areas of business property assessment, business valuations, business acquisitions, strategic and tactical analyses, and business planning. Mr. Greenke also consulted for BP on an acquisition in South America, and contributed to its development over a two year period.


After leaving BP in 1991, Mr. Greenke founded TKG Inc. (dba ProformaCo), an advisory company providing business valuations, business plans, and other services. Mr Greenke joined Exvere, Inc., a private investment banking firm, as Manager/Business Valuations in early 1995, and spent three years in that capacity. After leaving Exvere, Mr. Greenke contracted his valuation services through ProformaCo to The Fuller Trident Group (originally Trident Capital Partners), another private investment banking company, for another nine years. Mr. Greenke is presently an independent contractor providing business valuations.


Mr. Greenke was a business manager for both Union Carbide and British Petroleum prior to becoming a Business Appraiser.  As President of a British Petroleum subsidiary, he managed up to 140 employees.


Terry K. Greenke is a Certified Business Appraiser, a Certified Valuation Analyst, and a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics.
